Natalina Russo was born in Ciró Marina, Provincia di Cantanzaro, Italy on the Ionic Sea in 1954. She is the youngest of three daughters. She proudly became an American citizen at 18. “My blood may be Italian, but my heart belongs to America”, she states.
Russo was married for over 25 years and has two grown sons R. Joseph and Francesco.. Since her divorce, she has… “Gone back to my first loves” – writing and traveling to islands of the world, her favorite places.
She owns and manages real estate. She is also a freelance writer for local newspapers and has been writing poetry since the age of 12.
Russo teaches, translates, and interprets Italian. She also works with the elderly and disabled and is in the process of developing an aid for their benefit. She has attended nursing school in Ivera, a town in the Italian Alps. Natalina has attended Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania.
At this time, she is working on her first novel. She lives outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her 82-year-old mother, Concettina Russo, and her Bishon named Angel. You can reach her at NataleeA@msn.com.
